Lovely location really close to the nearby forest along the river, many activities to enjoy and several Fjord area attractions, I felt safe. There was Voglia di Pizza nearby, offering quick meals...

I recently stayed at Herangtunet Boutique with my partner for a weekend getaway. What struck us was the unique and contemporary decor, which is a refreshing change from other hotels in Norway. The owners, Marco and Marie-Josée, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast, especially the perfectly brewed café au lait. In addition, the hotel’s location amidst the forest provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Exploring the surrounding area, we discovered a stunning view of the lake from a bench and even hiked to the top of a small mountain, where we were lucky enough to spot a moose. Herangtunet Boutique exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return.
Can recommend this hotel.

We were a group of friends looking for adventure, and boy did we find it! We hiked some of the most rewarding trails in Fjell Norway, embracing the breathtaking landscape. And when we weren't hiking, we were skiing and snowboarding at the bottom of the slopes in Beitostølen. The adrenaline rush was unreal! The hotel owners were super friendly and even recommended some unique cultural sites for us to visit. this trip was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
If there's one thing we could ask for, it would be more options for young party-goers. Don't get us wrong, the hotel was amazing, but as teenagers, we were hoping for a bit more nightlife and vibrant atmosphere.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms had a small balcony, which I loved. It was so nice to sit there and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, just like in the Aspen room described in one of the reviews. Secondly, the staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful, just like Marco and Marie-José mentioned in another review. They made me feel so welcome and taken care of. Lastly, the breakfast was outstanding. It was definitely the best meal of the day and a great way to start each morning, just like the delicious dinners mentioned in the other review.
Honestly, I couldn't find anything to fault with this hotel. Everything was just perfect.

The bathroom at Herangtunet Boutique Hotel is absolutely delightful! It's perfect for both adults and kids, with easy access from both rooms. The wainscoting and real copper taps give it a charming and luxurious feel. I felt like a VIP using it!
Personally, I was not a big fan of the high sleeper in the bedrooms. But hey, it's just my opinion.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. From the warm and attentive service to the well thought out wine pairings with the delicious 3-course dinners, everything was superb. The hosts made us feel like personal guests, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our stay. The location in the small forest was idyllic, and we especially loved the rooms with their small balconies, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. And let's not forget about the breakfast – it was absolutely delightful!
Everything was absolutely perfect – no complaints here!
